Kinabatangan – City Video Guide

Kinabatangan – City Video Guide

The Kinabatangan River winds gracefully through some 350 miles of Sabah, Malaysia, and is home to a remarkable number of different species and habitats.

Kinabatangan tours can take you from the mist-shrouded hills in the Malaysian highlands to limestone caves adorned with edible birds’ nests. In between, you’ll see freshwater swamps and groups of mangroves, along with villages full of river dwellers and traders who have made the Kinabatangan their livelihood for centuries.

Your Kinabatangan sightseeing will no doubt include the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, which sits in the lowlands near the coast. Climb into a small boat and motor down the river, taking in all the astonishing flora and fauna. Orangutans, crocodiles, and hundreds of species of birds, among other animals, make this place their home.
